Located in the north of Samui, Harry's has good swimming facilities. This area is quieter than the big tourist centres of Chaweng and Lamai. Maenam Beach is some two kilometres to the west of Bophut on the north coast of Koh Samui. Maenam Village is largely untouched with some of the shop-houses along the beach being 75 years or older. A small Chinese temple is located along the jetty. Maenam has a smooth white beach running for four kilometres along a calm, scenic bay. It is a pleasant, secluded spot for swimming and sunbathing. Sunsets at Maenam Beach are spectacular and there is always a view of the neighbouring islands.
