Koh Tao was first put on the map by the stunning tropical coral reefs surrounding the island, and rocky deep sea pinnacles forming a home for a vast array of marine life.

During every dive you can see masses of colorful marine species including reef fish (butterfly & angelfish, triggerfish & clown fish), moray eels, sting-rays and more. If you're lucky you'll get to see some of our rarer residents such as sea horses and pipefish, lionfish and green & hawksbill turtles.

For experienced divers, at our deeper dive sites you can enjoy diving with Koh Tao's larger marine creatures such as giant grouper, great barracuda, bull sharks and even the occasional whale shark.

Koh Tao Simple Life Resort has it's own PADI Five Star dive center offering dive training for beginners and daily diving tours for certified divers.

With the same European management as the day it opened over 8 years ago, 'Simple Life Divers' offers all PADI scuba diving courses, ranging from one day intro sessions right through to professional level training.

Our team of experienced western instructors teach in small groups to make sure everyone has a great time and qualifies as a safe, confident diver, with our custom dive boat heading out for four dives each day to offer you a wide choice of dive sites.

To help you relax and unwind on vacation, Koh Tao Simple Life Resort has it’s own massage room offering a range of traditional massages.

Run by our extremely experienced and knowledgeable masseur, ‘Khun Yupim’, we offer:

• Traditional Thai massage
• Oil massages
• Foot massages.

Khun Yupim is an expert in each of the massages offered, and her many years working as a masseur have taken her as far as Sydney, Australia (where she learned that not every Westerner enjoys their traditional Thai massage quite as strong as the Thais do!).

Since opening more than 15 years ago, Simple Life restaurant has developed a reputation for serving fantastic Thai and Western cuisine. With great food and a great atmosphere, Simple Life's is one of most popular restaurants on Sairee Beach.

Each morning, our chefs prepare a buffet breakfast, featuring American, European and Asian breakfast favorites, fresh fruits and tea & coffee.

Later in the day you can try our traditional Thai curries, spicy salads & soups, rice and noodle dishes and fantastic stir frys. Or if you fancy something western, check out our giant menu of pasta dishes, burgers, western style salads and steaks. Not to be missed are our famous BBQ kebabs available each evening!

From the bar you can enjoy local and imported beers and spirits, a wide selection of wines and fresh fruit juices and shakes.

Koh Tao Simple Life Resort has it’s own swimming pool and separate shallow pool, perfect for cooling off from our hot, sunny weather. The pool is peaceful and private, and there are plenty of pool-side sun beds to top up your tan or enjoy reading a good book.

From your room it’s a short two minute stroll down to Sairee beach where you can enjoy relaxing on the sand, swimming or snorkeling. But during low tide, shallow water over the coral reef makes it difficult to swim. Taking a dip in the pool is the next best thing.

All our superior and deluxe rooms have private balconies which overlook the swimming pool.

Our staff at the resort reception offer a number of tour and travel services, allowing you to explore more of Koh Tao or organize your onward journey throughout Thailand.

As you might imagine on a small tropical island, connection speeds aren't lightening fast, but it's easily sufficient for picking up your emails, browsing the internet or uploading photographs of Sairee Beach Koh Tao to Facebook for your jealous friends back home!
