Koh Phangan is located in the heart of the Gulf of Thailand, far enough from the busy mainland to develop its very own special and unique culture. As part of the Samui Archipelago, Koh Phangan is the least developed island in the group and still has the charms that brought the first travelers here.
To reach Koh Phangan, you will either be arriving at Suratthani on a bus, train or plane; at each drop off point there are tour guides to show you the way to the ferry terminals.
For those that are not on a budget Koh Samui has an international airport and Thai Airways also have services arriving in Suratthani.
