Koh Samui, situated off the east coast in Southern Thailand, is the largest of an archipelago of more than 80 islands, for the greater part uninhabited, in the Angthong Marine National Park. With a surface area of about 250 square kilometres, it is the third largest island of the Kingdom after Phuket and Koh Chang. The island experiences the best all year round weather of all the islands and boasts an array of beautiful beaches, gourmet restaurants, luxury spas and a plethora of activities. Chaweng Beach is the most popular nightlife and shopping area but can be crowded and over bearing at times.
Saree Samui is located on a pristine stretch of white sand along Maenam beach in the tranquil north of the Island, just 15 minutes from Chaweng and 10 minutes from Samui Airport. Bangkok Airlines operates flights from Bangkok's international airport directly to Samui Island regularly throughout the day and the flight takes just under an hour.
