The Sunset Hill Resort and Spa in Koh Phangan is set on a hill between the beaches of Haad Chao Phao and Haad Yao on the west coast of the island. Every apartment has panoramic seaviews over the Gulf of Thailand and its islands. The resort is surrounded by an astonishing abundance of nature and is just a few hundred metres away from the pearly white beaches of Ao Chao Phao, Haad Son and Haad Yao (the long beach).
The easiest way to reach Koh Phangan is via Bangkok International Airport. It is a 45-minute flight to Koh Samui airport. From Samui's Nathon port there are two to three express boats departing every day (depending on the season) to Phangan's Thong Sala port. At Samui's Lipa Noi port there is one ferry boat per day which also arrives at Thong Sala. To reach Hat Rin from Samui, there are boats twice a day from Bangrak Pier.
During Full Moon parties, there are several speedboats linking Hat Rin with Bophut and Maenam piers as well. Koh Phangan is also linked up to the mainland by four boats and ferries per day all departing from Suratthani's Ban Don Port or Donsak Port.
